The potential for these features to help address inflation is not guaranteed. The effectiveness of any of the strategies or features is dependent on a variety of factors including interest rates, product caps and rates, crediting methods, and market index performance.

Registered index-linked annuities (RILAs) can provide the performance potential your clients want with a level of protection they need. They also offer tax deferral, traditional variable options, index options, lifetime annuity payout options, and a death benefit during the accumulation phase.

Fixed index annuities (FIA) are designed to meet long-term needs for retirement income. They provide tax-deferred accumulation potential, guarantees against the loss of principal and credited interest, and the reassurance of a death benefit for beneficiaries.

Fixed index universal life (FIUL) insurance provides death benefit protection plus the opportunity to build accumulation value.

As with any investment vehicle, index variable annuities are subject to risk – including possible loss of principal. Investment returns and principal will fluctuate with market conditions so that contract values, upon distribution, may be worth more or less than the original cost.
