Allianz provides competitive medical coverage. Each medical plan includes coverage for a spouse or domestic partner and/or dependent children. Our medical plans include comprehensive medical coverage, a prescription drug plan, and employer contributions into most employees’ HSA accounts.
Utilizing our carrier’s Preferred Provider network, employees have access to providers and facilities nationwide. All preventive screenings received by network providers are 100% covered.
You may choose from three comprehensive dental plans. Each dental plan includes coverage for a spouse or domestic partner and/or dependent children. All of our dental plans cover preventive and basic restorative services. You may also choose a plan which includes coverage for major restorative and orthodontic services. And you have the flexibility to choose any dental provider, or use the Preferred Dentist Program provider to lower your out-of-pocket costs.
Our vision plan gives you access to a national network of optometrists, ophthalmologists, and opticians for your eye care needs. Your vision benefit provides savings up to 40% on your eyewear needs.
Post-employment health care savings account
The PHSA is allows you to save for post-employment health care expenses via current payroll deductions. Any earnings realized in your account are tax-free. After your employment terminates, the money in your account is not taxed when you or a dependent request reimbursement for an eligible health care expense.
Disability and life plans
In addition to employer-paid short- and long-term disability insurance, you also have options of life insurance and optional accidental death and dismemberment insurance for yourself, spouse, domestic partner, and/or children.
Pay for performance
Our base pay program's primary objective is to recognize the value of an individual's skills, experience, and contribution with competitive market pay. Our variable pay programs focus on time-based results. All employees are eligible to receive these awards based on the level of pay established for their positions.
Flexible spending accounts
Flexible spending accounts allow you to reduce your taxable income by having pre-tax contributions deducted from your paychecks. Allianz offers two flexible spending account options: health care and dependent care. Funds in your health care flexible spending account can be used for eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses. Examples of eligible health care expenses include dental deductibles and co-pays and coinsurance, and eyeglasses. Funds in your dependent care flexible spending account can be used for eligible dependent care expenses, such as day care and elder care.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Allianz encourages you to take ownership in the value you help create. The Allianz Employee Stock Purchase Plan provides eligible employees a convenient way to purchase Allianz stock at a discounted rate.
Our company places high importance on saving for retirement. All full-time and regular part-time employees are eligible to join our retirement plan on their first day of employment. The company matches 100% of your contributions up to 7.5% of eligible pay. Employees become 100% vested in company contributions after three years of service.
Employee Product Purchase Plan
We offer a program that gives you special discounts and benefits on a variety of Allianz financial products – including both fixed and variable annuities and life insurance. Mutual funds and 529 plans are offered through our PIMCO affiliate. As long as you are receiving a paycheck from Allianz, you are qualified for these discounts.
Objective financial planning Service
You have access to independent financial planners for 1:1 personalized financial planning help. We also offer various financial education workshops to help employees achieve their financial well-being goals.
Paid time off
Our employees work hard and we recognize that they need time away from work for a variety of reasons. We have created a paid time-off program, which can be used for any purpose, such as vacation, child care, elder care, religious holiday, birthday, parent/teacher conference, doctor's visit, or sick leave.
The company observes 12 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas Day, and a designated floating holiday. Two additional paid holidays are determined by you: a volunteering day and a True Balance day.
