Now. As CMO, Nancy Jones is responsible for new business strategy, product innovation, marketing, and corporate communications. In this role she leads the company’s product strategy and development for its annuity and life insurance product lines. Her team drives the Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®) brand through segmentation, customer experience, interactive initiatives, and advanced market insights to create strategies designed to help people reach their retirement income goals. Jones also leads the company’s digital strategy and oversees public relations, internal communications, and community relations efforts. And she is responsible for the U.S. regional brand strategy for the U.S. family of Allianz companies.
Then. Prior to joining Allianz Life in 2008, Jones served as SVP of client experience and marketing operations at Ameriprise Financial. She also held senior roles at American Express in their traditional financial advisory business, and led development of new direct and online businesses. Her financial services career spans more than 25 years, with roles in business strategy, product development, distribution channel management, and marketing.
And ... Jones has a BBA in financial management from Southern Methodist University and an MBA in marketing from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. She also holds the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation and FINRA Series 7 and 24 securities registrations.
