Nancy Jones is the chief marketing officer for Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®). Jones is responsible for new business strategy, product innovation, marketing, and corporate communications. In this role she manages the companyís product strategy and development for its annuity and life insurance products. Her team builds the Allianz Life brand presence and, through its advanced markets initiatives, creates consumer insight-driven strategies designed to help people reach their retirement income goals. Jones also leads digital strategy and oversees public relations, internal communications, and charitable giving efforts.
Prior to joining Allianz Life in 2008, Jones served as senior vice president of client experience and marketing operations at Ameriprise Financial. She also held several senior roles at American Express in the traditional financial advisory business, as well as developing new direct and online businesses. Her career in the financial services industry spans more than 25 years with roles in business strategy, product development, distribution channel management, and marketing.
Jones has a BBA in financial management from Southern Methodist University and an MBA in marketing from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. She also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, and FINRA Series 7 and 24 securities registrations.
