Training Magazine Names Allianz Life as Top 125 Company for Learning and Development

Company Recognized for Employer-Sponsored Training and Development Programs for Seventh Consecutive Year

MINNEAPOLIS – Feb. 26, 2020 – Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®) announced today it was named a 2020 Training Top 125 Company by Training Magazine. This is the seventh consecutive year Allianz Life has been included on the list, which recognizes companies for their strong learning and development programs. This year, Allianz Life came in at number 24.

One of the unique ways Allianz Life offers training is through digital learning paths aligned to key skill areas where employees can personalize their learning to their needs. The learning paths in 2019 aligned to four skill areas: digital acumen, data analytics, influencing, and diversity and inclusion. Employees could access all of the learning opportunities via an intranet site, where they can choose beginner or intermediate paths. Then, they had access to curated videos, articles, LinkedIn Learning courses, and recommendations for gaining exposure and experience related to the topics such as scheduling step-ins with experts or volunteering for related projects.

The Training magazine Top 125 list is a worldwide ranking of organizations that have excellent employee training and development programs. The rankings are based on a number of different factors including total training budget, hours of training per employee annually, and business outcomes measurement.
