Allianz Life Names Susan Sachatello New Chief Growth Officer

Sachatello brings extensive experience in insurance, financial services and multichannel retail sectors to organization

MINNEAPOLIS – Sept. 30, 2021 – Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life) announced today it has hired Susan Sachatello as senior vice president, chief growth officer, starting on September 27. Sachatello will oversee development of the company strategy, and has overall accountability for New Markets, Ventures, Product Innovation, Enterprise Marketing and Experience Management, Strategic Communications, Community Engagement and Sponsorships, and Enterprise Agile. She will report directly to Allianz Life President and CEO Jasmine Jirele.

Sachatello brings extensive experience in marketing and digital leadership roles, most recently for Principal Financial Group and CUNA Mutual Group. With a track-record of business transformation in insurance, financial services and multichannel retail sectors, she also held chief marketing officer positions for Lands’ End, LBrands, and DoubleClick (now Google Ad Manager). Susan holds a B.A. in Economics and English from the University of Richmond, and an MBA from the College of William and Mary.
