Allianz Life Named One of the 2022 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For

In its 11th consecutive year on the list, company is recognized for caring for employees, and diversity, equity and inclusion

MINNEAPOLIS – April 11, 2022 – Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life) has been named one of the 2022 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For. The company ranked No. 77 on the list.

This is the 11th consecutive year that Allianz Life has been included on the list, showing its commitment to the employee experience, professional development, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Allianz Life was recognized this year for its strong demonstration of the company’s culture of caring.

“Allianz Life is committed to being a national employer of choice, and making sure employees see limitless potential in their careers here,” said Jasmine Jirele, president and CEO of Allianz Life. “We work hard to continuously improve our employee experience, and receiving this award for more than a decade validates our strong workplace culture and our deep commitment to making Allianz a great place to work.”

Allianz continues to cultivate a workplace for all through diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives like employee resource groups and its supplier diversity program. The company launched a new program in April 2021 designed to support the professional growth and career advancement of diverse talent.

The company was also recognized for its ongoing COVID-19 pandemic response, and supporting employee physical and mental wellbeing. In 2021, Allianz Life gave employees time off to get a COVID-19 vaccine and hosted a drive-thru clinic for employees and their families to get the shot. The company expanded its benefits in 2020 and 2021 to fully cover any out-of-pocket costs related to a COVID-19 diagnosis. It also waived the costs for virtual care.

This is the 25th anniversary of the FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For list. Companies are selected using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback.

“These companies get that 'place' is wherever their employees are sitting or standing, and they are committed to make that place equitable, safe and productive,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “Their commitment to genuinely care for their people through trust, inclusion, purpose and meaningful flexibility for life circumstances goes beyond surface-level perks and is a model for the market to follow.”
