The value of supplier diversity at Allianz

Learn about our commitment to equity and inclusion.

Promoting opportunity within our supply chain

Our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace extends to the goods, services, and commodities we source, and the contingency staffing and consultants we procure. Together with our partners, we help elevate underrecognized businesses in the communities where we live and work for a more sustainable future.

Our collaboration with underutilized businesses

We seek suppliers that are at least 51% owned and operated by a person or persons who are socially or economically disadvantaged due to color, ethnic origin, gender, physical disability, or other factors that result in barriers to the conduct of business – known as historically underutilized businesses, or HUBs. This includes:

  • Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)
  • Disability-Owned Business Enterprises (DOBEs)
  • HUB zone Small Businesses
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender-Owned Business Concerns (LGBTBCs)
  • Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBEs): African American, Hispanic, Native American, or Asian descent
  • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs)
  • Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VOBs)
  • Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBEs)
Team collaboration in the workplace
