Building a culture that values everyone’s contributions and diverse perspectives

At Allianz we have worked hard to build a caring, diverse, and inclusive culture where employees can bring their authentic selves to work every day. Having diversity of thought and talent helps us innovate, grow, and succeed in our mission: We secure your future. This commitment to D&I touches everything we do – both within the walls of Allianz and in the greater community we call home.

Hear from our Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer

Supporting a more equitable community

As a large employer in the Twin Cities, we believe we have a responsibility to help make a positive difference in our community and support equity in Minnesota. We’re engaged in a number of different initiatives to help support diverse businesses, expand economic opportunities, and improve racial equity both in our state and beyond.

Supplier diversity

Our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace extends to the goods, services, and commodities we source, and the contingency staffing and consultants we partner with. Our collaboration with underutilized businesses through our supplier diversity efforts helps promote opportunity within our supply chain.

Nicoshia Wynn is a senior HR consultant and chair of BELONG. She is also the founder and executive director of Relentless Academy, a new summer program in Minnesota focused on providing accessible and affordable summer educational options to students, infused with music and financial literacy.

She was inspired to start Relentless Academy after reviewing youth summer camp options for her own kids. She quickly realized there were limited options. Now, she’s working to change the narrative by offering an affordable and accessible academic summer program for underserved families in our community to make a cultural, educational, and economic impact. With technology, financial literacy, and sciences being the wave of the future, she created the Relentless Academy S.M.A.R.T. (science, math, art, reading, technology and a lyrical splash of music) summer youth program. This 10-week tuition-free program opened its doors in the summer of 2021, thanks to the generous donations from individuals and organizations.
