Allianz Index Advantage+ Income® Variable Annuity

Index Advantage+ Income® is a registered index-linked annuity (RILA) designed to give you long-term growth potential – plus the opportunity for lifetime income, with the Income Benefit rider, which is automatically included at an additional cost. This can give you more ways to take income, including the opportunity for income increases.

Index Advantage+ Income® offers lifetime income with a new balance of performance potential and a level of protection. It provides indexed return potential with the opportunity for varying levels of protection through multiple index options, tax-deferred growth potential, a variety of lifetime annuity payout options, a death benefit during the accumulation phase and an income benefit which provides a choice between consistent, level income, or increasing income potential to help meet your needs.

RILAs are subject to investment risk, including possible loss of principal. Investment returns and principal value will fluctuate with market conditions so that contract value, upon distribution, may be worth more or less than the original cost.

Investor profile and index options

Allianz Index Advantage+ Income® Variable Annuity allows you to customize your allocations with at least one or more index options, each offering a unique risk/return objective to help meet various investor profiles. Indexes available with the Allianz Index Advantage+ Income® Variable Annuity RILA index strategies

Because indexes may perform differently under similar market conditions, Index Advantage+ Income® offers five indexes.

S&P 500® Index: A large-cap American stock market index based on market capitalizations of 500 companies. Often considered one of the best overall representations of the U.S. stock market.

Russell 2000® Index: A small-cap stock market index of the smallest 2,000 companies in the Russell 3000 index. A common benchmark for companies that identify as small-cap based on market capitalization.

Nasdaq-100® Index: A large-cap market index that includes 100 of the largest domestic and international nonfinancial securities listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market.

iShares® MSCI Emerging Markets ETF: An exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, which is designed to measure equity market performance in the global emerging markets. The underlying index may include large- and mid-capitalization companies.

EURO STOXX 50®: An international stock market index that provides a blue-chip representation of supersector leaders in the Eurozone. The index covers 50 stocks from 11 Eurozone countries.

Although an index or indexes will affect your index option values, the index options do not directly participate in any stock or equity investment and are not a direct investment in an index.

You could experience a loss during a term if the index declines more than the level of downside protection. You may not be able to participate fully in a market recovery due to limits on positive returns in subsequent terms.

  1. Are your purchase payments protected?4
  2. How can this product fit into my overall portfolio?
  3. Are there guarantees available with this product?
  4. What else should I consider that might impact my retirement?

1 The Income Benefit rider charge is 0.70% accrued daily and deducted on each quarterly contract anniversary, calculated as a percentage of the charge base, which is the contract value on the preceding quarterly contract anniversary, adjusted for subsequent purchase payments and withdrawals. The Income Benefit is automatically included in the contract at issue and cannot be added to a contract after issue.

2 Lifetime Income percentage increases begin once the eligible person(s) reaches age 45. Eligible person(s) are the owner and their spouse if the spouse is also an owner or sole primary or sole contingent beneficiary as specified in the prospectus. If the owner is a non-individual, the annuitant is an eligible person.

3 Double income payments come from the Income Multiplier factor. We establish the Income Multiplier Benefit wait period and the Income Multiplier factor on the date you sign your application provided we receive your initial Purchase Payment within the required time period, which may differ from the terms stated here. Income Benefit supplements with terms for each Allianz RILA with Income Benefit can be found at www.allianzlife.com/rates.

4 Deduction for applicable fees and charges may result in a loss of principal or previously earned performance credits, which are the annual returns you may receive when you allocate to an index option, and will not receive a performance credit on the next Term End Date.

All annuity features, risks, limitations, and costs should be considered prior to purchasing an annuity within a tax-qualified retirement plan.
