To help you land more clients from this market, Allianz Life conducted the 2023 Women-Owned 6 Small Business Study. And what we found was revealing.
Nearly a quarter of women business owners are not currently working with a financial professional. But know this: 92% say it’s important their financial professional has experience and knowledge in issues specifically related to women-owned businesses.
But what kind of issues?

Women business owners often say they’re concerned about a recession or a significant market 19 downturn and the difficulty in attracting and recruiting key employees.
Women-owned small businesses are less likely to have employee retention benefits like an executive bonus plan or company-paid life insurance. And more than half of women business owners do not have a plan for selling or transferring ownership.
