Allianz Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups and Inclusion Groups are voluntary, employee-led groups that foster an inclusive workplace aligned with the mission, values, and objectives of the business. These groups are funded by the organization and are responsible for delivering on performance goals set by the ERG leadership. All employees are invited to engage with any ERG and seek leadership opportunities, reinforcing the Allianz commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace for all.

Allianz NEO (Networking – Engagement – Opportunities) is focused on fostering an inclusive company culture where people can develop and succeed irrespective of their gender identity. This group is open to all employees.

Black Employee Leadership & Opportunity Networking Group (BELONG) fosters an inclusive space where employees and allies can connect, exchange perspectives, access networking and growth opportunities, and collaborate in supporting Black communities. This group is open to all employees.

Allianz Pride is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every employee feels valued and respected, regardless of their sexuality or gender identity. The Green Team works to support sustainability efforts at Allianz and encourages employees to learn more about green initiatives both in the workplace and at home. This group is open to all employees.

Operation: SERVE seeks to positively influence the culture at Allianz through service, relationship building, and communication by leveraging veterans and interested employees in support of veterans groups, active service members, and their families. This group is open to all employees.

Beyond is an inclusive community that is focused on removing barriers, stigmas, and taboos, and fostering an environment where people with disabilities feel they can succeed. This group is open to all employees.

ASCENT (Asians Supporting, Collaborating, Educating, and Networking Together) provides resources, promotes engagement among employees, and fosters connections with Asian communities through community involvement and education. This group is open to all employees.

Adelante!

Adelante! exists to create awareness and educate Allianz employees at all levels on the Latino/Hispanic culture. It promotes an inclusive forum for employees and allies to connect and share perspectives, offer networking and development opportunities, and support of our local communities. Empowering Differences in Distribution through Growth and Education (EDDGE) exists to attract qualified candidates to Distribution, welcome them to a workplace of belonging, and offer pathways for growth, advancement, and inclusive innovation.

How we’re supporting a more inclusive community

We want our community to be a better place for all who live here. We’re engaged in a number of initiatives to help support various businesses, expand economic opportunities, and improve social equity in Minnesota and beyond.

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon

We’ve been a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon company since 2013, in recognition of our proactive support of service members, veterans, and their families. We are one of nearly 80 Minnesota-based organizations with this distinction.

We’ve partnered with the nonprofit to help build their financial services curriculum to help students gain the technical and professional skills they need to prepare for a career in financial services.

Twin Cities Diversity in Practice

To help strengthen the legal talent pipeline in our community, we participate in the 1L Clerkship that has helped law students launch careers in the Twin Cities.

Winning Abilities

Working with the nonprofit, we’re proud to welcome summer interns with disabilities or different abilities, especially in the areas of technology, finance, investments, and actuarial science.

How we’re committing to a more just Minnesota

MSP Equity Fund

Allianz is one of the anchor investors in this $50 million venture capital fund, which aims to attract leading local, regional, and national venture capital firms to bring their expertise and risk capital to the region, generating investment and interest while increasing the investable capital available to overlooked and underfunded high-growth startups.

Increasing access to affordable housing

Through Allianz Investment Management LLC, we’re investing in affordable housing throughout the United States and right here in our hometown. We’re committed to helping create, preserve, and provide access to safe, healthy, and reasonably priced housing units for low- and moderate-income households.
