Jessie Diggins returns to Minnesota for celebration event following retirement from ski racing

Minnesotans are invited to “Here Comes Diggins!”, a public celebration at Allianz Field, presented by Allianz and Mortenson

MINNEAPOLIS – March 20, 2026 – Minnesotans will have the opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary career of Olympian Jessie Diggins at a public event, Here Comes Diggins! A Celebration of Jessie Diggins, presented by Allianz and Mortenson. The celebration will take place Sunday, April 19, from 1:30–5 p.m. at Allianz Field® in St. Paul. Doors will open at 1 p.m.

The celebration marks Diggins’ first major public appearance in Minnesota since announcing her retirement from ski racing and comes shortly after the final competitions of her career at the FIS CrossCountry World Cup Finals, held March 2022, 2026.

A hometown hero from Afton, Diggins will retire as the most decorated American cross‑country skier in history, with 90 World Cup podiums, three Tour de Ski victories, four Olympic medals, and the most World Cup starts ever recorded. Her most recent achievement — a bronze medal at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games — capped off a career that helped redefine what’s possible for U.S. skiing.

“Jessie’s career has been defined by extraordinary resilience, courage, and an unwavering drive to give everything she has, and we’ve been honored to sponsor her for many years,” said Jasmine Jirele, president and CEO of Allianz Life. “Her historic achievements have moved and inspired us, and we are excited to see the positive impact she will make in this next chapter of her life."

“Jessie represents the very best of what it means to show up—day after day—with grit, humility, and an unwavering commitment to excellence,” said David Mortenson, chairman of Mortenson. “She’s not just one of the greatest athletes our state has ever produced; she’s a leader who has redefined what’s possible through hard work, resilience, and heart. We’re proud to stand with her as partners and to welcome her home to Minnesota.”

The family‑friendly event will offer:

  • An interactive presentation by Jessie
  • A kid‑focused Q&A with Jessie
  • Meet‑and‑greet moments and photo opportunities with fans (spots are limited; first 300 fans in the door; no autographs)
  • Sparkle and hair stations inspired by her signature race‑day glitter
  • Jewelry for purchase from the Jessie Diggins x Larissa Loden collaboration

The event will serve as both a celebration of Diggins’ legacy and a heartfelt sendoff as she begins her next chapter beyond competitive skiing.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration for all attendees is required. Register at SeatGeek.com.
