As Americans live longer, many find themselves serving as caregivers to aging family or friends. Without proper planning, caregivers are often hit with emotional and financial burdens, according to the Allianz 2016 Safeguarding Our Seniors Study.

Because financial professionals are often at the forefront of these planning conversations, we developed the Caregiving Readiness Guide. This tool can be used with clients or prospects to start those important conversations about medical decisions, necessary documents, and instructions to family members, with simple checklists intended to guide, and not overwhelm. We designed the tool so that all of this information can be captured and organized in one simple folder.
